"Roy" Winfield Harper was born July 26, 1905 in Dunklin
County, Gibson, Missouri, and died February 13, 1994 in
Saint Louis County, Chesterfield, Missouri.  A funeral
service was held at 11:00 a.m. on February 16, 1994 at the
Ladue Chapel located at 9450 Clayton Road in Saint Louis
County, Saint Louis, Missouri. Graveside services were held
on February 17, 1994 at Mount Zion Cemetery in Pemiscot
County, Steele, Missouri with Reverend Tom Zych
officiating. Burial was on February 17, 1994 in the Harper
burial site at Mount Zion Cemetery in Pemiscot County,
Steele, Missouri. "Roy" Winfield Harper married "Ruth"
Butt on July 30, 1941 in Missouri, daughter of Arthur Butt
and Sara Ray.  She was born December 31, 1913 in
Mississippi County, Blytheville, Arkansas, and died
February 4, 2007 in Saint Louis County, Saint Louis,
Missouri. Visitation was held between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. at
the Lupton Chapel located at 7233 Delmar Blvd., Saint Louis
County, University City, Missouri. Graveside services were
held at 2 p.m. on February 8, 2007 at Mount Zion Cemetery
in Pemiscot County, Steele, Missouri. Burial took place on
February 8, 2007 in the Harper burial site beside her
husband, "Roy" Winfield Harper, at Mount Zion Cemetery
in Pemiscot County, Steele, Missouri.

Harper, Ruth Butt on Sunday, February 4 .2007 at the age of
93. Beloved wife of the late Judge "Roy" W. Harper; dearest
mother of Katherine H. Connolly and Arthur M. Harper
(Pam Mayberry Harper); dear grandmother of Scott and
Brooke, Jesse and Ryan; dear aunt of Susan Lammert and
Betty Geeslin; dear sister-in-law. The family wishes to
express their gratitude and thanks to her caregivers,
Mildred and Barbara for their loving attention and care.
Services: The family will receive friends at the Lupton
Chapel, 7233 Delmar Blvd., University City, on Wednesday,
February 7 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. A Graveside Service will
be conducted at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele, Missouri on
Thursday, February 8 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials
appreciated to Society for the Blind and Visually Impaired,
8770 Manchester, St. Louis 63144.

his mom Kate Connolly and sister Brooke and brothers
Justin and Ryan Hulse. Visitation will be at Bryant Funeral
Home, 411 Old Town Road, Setauket, NY.
