"Ruth" Rita Harper Toohey was born June 17, 1914 in Dunklin County, Holcomb, Missouri, and died March 29, 2005 in Solano County, Vallejo, California. She married Clarence Joseph Toohey, son of James T. Toohey and Gertrude M. Toohey, on December 27, 1955 in San Francisco, California at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Campbell, the parents of Grace Kathryn (Kay) Campbell Harper, the wife of Louis Marvin Harper, a brother of "Ruth" Rita Harper. Clarence Joseph Toohey was born January 15, 1908, and died March 24, 1972 in Solano County, Vallejo, California. Both Ruth Rita Harper Toohey and her husband Joseph Clarence Toohey were cremated after their deaths. Both have their ashes buried beside each other in the Harper family plot in Mount Zion Cemetery in Pemiscot County, Steele, Missouri.
